Riley Miller Jr.

Riley Miller Jr. long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on August 3, 1937, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 19, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years. Riley was the son of Riley Jasper and Helen Marie (Campbell) Miller. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1956. Riley married Lois Evelyn Christian, in Wellston on August 4, 1957. He was the owner of Miller Dozer Service. Riley served as Lincoln County District II County Commissioner for 18 years. His parents, and wife, preceded Riley in death. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, David Kirk and Barbara Miller of Chandler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Ronnie Kalka of Chandler, and Lori and Shane Niccum of Stroud, Oklahoma; two brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald Gene Miller of Chandler, and Roger and Robin Miller of Lawton, Oklahoma; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Anita and Jim Slayton of Chandler, Joy and Carl Cornett of Meeker, Oklahoma, and Doris and Curtis Pulliam of Chandler; six grandchildren, Sandy Matthews and husband Philip, Candy Jo Kalka, Terrance Reel, Christy Miller, Kaitlyn Niccum and Preston Niccum; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held 9:00 AM, Friday, July 21, 2017, at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler, with Rev. Keith Henley officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
