Richard Keith Cooper

Richard Keith Cooper was born on July 2, 1953, in Seminole, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2008, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 55. Richard, the son of Leonard and JoAnn Edgell Cooper, was a long-time resident of Paden. He married Cenda Joyce Nelon on June 26, 1982. Richard was employed with Standard Roofing for 21 years. He lived for his family and was a great husband, Dad, and Papa. His favorite thing was playing with his grandsons. Richard''s parents, and sisters, Joquita Cooper and Lisa Cooper-Thompson preceded him in death Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Cenda Cooper of the home; daughter and daughter-in-law, Amy Clay and Summer Doak of Shawnee; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Keith and Megan Cooper of Paden; Papa''s two special boys, Triston Clay of Shawnee and Gavin Cooper of Paden; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frederick and Wilma Cooper of Noble, Kent and Susie Cooper of Las Vegas, NV; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Jim Strozier of Shreveport, LA, Jane and Nicky Griffo of Las Vegas, NV, Margo and Jack Webber of Seminole; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tracey and Jerry Aaron of Paden, Kenda and George Jezek of Tulsa, Earl and Lynne Nelon of Paden; 17 nieces and nephews; and 18 great nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 10:00 AM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Seminole. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Paden.
