Richard Jack Palmer

Richard Jack Palmer of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on March 8, 2020 at the age of 67. Richard was the son of Clifford Jack and Wynema Geneva (Brady) Palmer and was born on January 4, 1953 in Bethany, Oklahoma. Richard was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Richard was raised in Del City. He attended Del City Schools and was a graduate of Del City High School. Richard spent many years serving the students of Prague Public Schools as a custodian and bus driver. He enjoyed cooking and watching any cooking show he could find on television. Richard loved watching Oklahoma Sooner football and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. Richard also loved supporting his children and grandchildren. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Jack Palmer. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharon Lynne (Cline) Palmer; two children, Brock Ward of Prague and Leslie Goad and her husband, Michael of Del City; two granddaughters, Taryn Ward and Makenna Ward; his mother, Wynema Palmer of Arcadia; brother, John Palmer and his wife Pam of Arcadia, and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
