Richard Dale Lacquement passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2009, at the age of 63. Richard was born on November 12, 1945 to the late Clarence and Edith (Lee) Lacquement. Richard grew up in Prague, Oklahoma where he married his high school sweetheart, Marva Lola Fast. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage this past December. Richard worked as a civil-service Computer Specialist for the United States Navy. Retiring in 2005, after 35 years of service, Richard lived a full life enjoying many pastimes including piloting his V-Tail Beech Bonanza airplane, watching Oklahoma Sooners football, riding his cycle, raising parakeets, and spending time with his adoring wife and family. Surviving family members include his wife, Marva Lola (Fast) Lacquement; daughter, Tami Hostler and husband, Kevin; daughter Kari Rubin and husband, Marshall; son Richard “Adam” Lacquement and wife, Lori; sister Starleen Blackwell and husband, Dee; brothers Steve Lacquement; eleven grandchildren, Yvette, Amber, Joshua, Christopher, Adrian, Jeffrey, Dori, Destin, Faith, Amelia and Ella; and many more family members, both in Florida and Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery in Prague. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
