Richard “Rick” Dale Bales crossed over into the Glory Land on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 22, 1947, in Seminole, Oklahoma. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy (Chadwell) Bales; daughters, Larissa Case of Choctaw, Riki Bales and fianc, Robert Thompson of the home, Crystal Bales-Moran and husband Jonathan Moran of Prague; son, Leo Bales of the home; grandchildren, Jackson and Jordan Case, Katie (Baby Girl) Cantrell, Seth Bales-Moran, Scarlett, Samantha and Koby Moran; brother, Kelly and his wife, Pat Bales of McLoud; and sister, Lynda Whitson of McLoud. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Harlan Dale Bales, mother, Wannah Jeanne (Bohannon) Bales, and sister, Jennifer Thomas. Rick and Judy always felt their greatest accomplishments and riches were the family they raised; including over 50 foster children and 4 decades of love and commitment to Godly principles. Rick’s dedication and stewardship of the people in his life reflected a deep belief in nurturing and teaching the next generation. This was said about Rick: “You cannot spend any amount of time around the man without learning something.” We were not sad at the millisecond Rick closed his eyes for the last time, emptied his tired and sick lungs for the last time, and his physically broken heart beat it’s last beat for our Christ and Savior raised him to a promised and new Eternal Life that is promised to all of us. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Lighthouse Holiness Church fellowship Hall in Prague. Arrangements by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
