Redeker Rosalie

Rosalie Redeker, 88, long time resident of Prague, departed this life on April 28, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas after a three month illness. Rosalie was born on August 28, 1919, in Drumright, Oklahoma, to Phillip & Edna Weaver Hoggatt. She graduated from Drumright High School in 1938 and attended East Central University in Ada where she was an avid softball player. She married Gus H. Redeker, Jr., on March 10, 1940. She and Gus moved to Prague in 1950 and started Redeker Transports, Inc. Rosalie was secretary for the company for twenty three years. She and her husband were active members of the Prague community. Rosalie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague and a past member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gus; one son, Roger; three sisters, and three brothers. Survivors include granddaughters, Robyne Redeker Vonsiatsky and her husband Andre'' of Clemmons, NC, Brandi Redeker Lehning and her husband Jason of Amarillo, TX, Kathryn Redeker of Stillwater, OK; great-granddaughters, Redeker Vonsiatsky of Clemmons, NC, Brailey and Emersyn of Amarillo, TX; sister, Ethel Gray of Medford, OK; brother, Billy Hoggatt of Drumright. The family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2008, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at the Prague Cemetery with Bro, Tim Emmons officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
