Rebecca Lunell Ferren

Rebecca Lunell Ferren was born on October 24, 1932 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee and departed this life on March 21, 2020 in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 87. Rebecca was born to Theophal Eugene and Rebecca Loduska (Robeson) Henderson. Rebecca married Elga Louis Ferren in April 1951 in Mississippi and was married to him for 65 years until his passing in August 2016. Rebecca enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and bird watching. She and Elga loved to travel, and got to do quite a bit in their marriage while Elga was in the Navy. They also enjoyed their date nights at the casino. Rebecca was a bookkeeper for many years for large car companies and was great at her job, so great in fact that she actually received several awards. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings. Survivors include two daughters Debbie and husband Mike Stewart of Stroud, Oklahoma and Lisa and husband Chris Bonar of Euless, Texas; three grandsons Ian, Garrett, and Brandon Bonar as well as many nieces and nephews. Rebecca was greatly loved and will missed by all who knew her. There will be no services held at this time for Rebecca. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
