Rebecca Jean Dauner

Rebecca Jean Dauner was born August 3, 1943 in Comanche County, OK. She departed this life on March 6, 2019 in Cushing, OK at the age of 75. Becky was adopted at early age by Paul and Bertha Jane Dauner. Becky attended school in Tulsa, OK and graduated from high school in 1961. She also attended North Eastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Becky continued to live in Tulsa throughout her adult life with her longtime friend Sarah Lee. Becky moved to Stroud in April of 2015. Becky loved to color and draw. She also enjoyed listening to music and shopping for herself and others. Becky also loved to greet everyone at the health care facility and update Debbie, Vicki, Jackie, Connie and Miranda aka “Bubbles” on the daily events. Becky also enjoyed talking to her friend and roommate Freda Lacrosse. Becky made sure everyone was taken care of. Becky was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Bertha Jane Dauner. Becky is survived by her attorney and special friend Chris Rhoades and his wife Judy, friend Jimmy Lee, and all the residents and staff at Stroud Health Care Center. We will love and miss you always Becky. A memorial service will be held at the Stroud Health Care Center in the lobby on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at 1:00pm with Donnie Huffman officiating. Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud.
