Reba Uldine Winter

Reba Uldine Winter was born on March 6, 1927, in Seminole, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, November 8, 2007, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. Reba, the daughter of Charles Herbert and Bessie Mae Hazlett Rickard, was a resident of Meeker. She married Arvel Raymond Winter on August 16, 1947 in Midland, Texas. She was one of the original members when brother Decker founded the Assembly of God Church in Meeker. Reba also attended The Life and Restoration Worship Center of Jones. Her parents and one brother preceded Reba in death. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Arvel Raymond Winter of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon and Barbara Winter of Branson, Missouri, Robert and Amy Winter of Meeker, Brian and Jennifer Winter of Shawnee; daughters and son-in-law, Rita and Gary Linn of Shawnee, Jeannita Stasyszen of Meeker; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Ann Rickard of Moore; sister, Marguerite Kline of Meeker; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Chapel in Meeker beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2007 until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 2:00 PM, at Assembly of God Church in Meeker with Pastor Maxine Wilson and Rev. Charles Pearcy officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
