Raymond Loper

Clyde Raymond Loper was born on June 26, 1936, in Wiggins, Mississippi, and departed this life on Friday, March 18, 2011, in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 74 years. Raymond , the son of Woodrow and Helen (O'Neal) Loper, was a long time resident of Chandler. He married Louisa Meier in Bessie, Oklahoma on September 30, 1960, he served in the United States Air Force then worked as a accountant for Blue Cross for many years. Raymond was a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at Trinity Southern Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers. Survivors include wife, Ann of the home, son Mike Loper of Chandler, one daughter & son-in-law, Sherri & Tom Newport of Chandler, one sister Patsy Pearson of Alaska, three grandchildren, Alex & Melissa Newport of Edmond, OK., Brice Newport of Arcadia, OK., Beth Newport of Chandler, OK., one great grandson, Beau Newport. Other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 21, 2011, at the Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Wellston, Oklahoma with Rev. Lane Buckley officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, OK.
