Raymond Lewis Buerger was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on May 17, 2008 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the age of 70 years. Raymond was the son of Arthur Fred and Artie Mae Rylant Buerger. Raymond was a resident of Stroud since 1981. He married Elaine Marie Groleske in Miami, OK on December 22, 1957. Raymond was in the United States Air Force & worked as a mechanic and Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister. Survivors include, Wife, Elaine of the home, Three Sons, Michael R. Buerger of Billings, MO, Donald L. Buerger of Stroud, OK, Brian d. Buerger of HI, One Brother, Kenneth Buerger of Eustis, FL, One Sister, Carol Gurnitz of Willmington, IL, Four Grandchildren, Janet Whitmill, Jason Buerger, Ashley Buerger, Michael Buerger, Two Great Grandchildren, David and Krysten Whitmill, Several nieces and nephews, Other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Jim Mickus officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK. Family will receive family and friends at 6:30 P.M. to 8: 30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008.
