Raymond Lee Taylor

Raymond Lee Taylor was born on February 25, 1937, in Okemah, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2016, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. Raymond, the son of Arlie and Helen (Raper) Taylor, was a resident of Paden. Raymond proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Carolyon Green on February 22, 1990 in Shawnee. Raymond retired from Tinker Air Force Base where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of the Paden Freewill Baptist. Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also spent a great deal of time working on cars with his brother, Robert. Raymond's parents; one son, Arlie Taylor; two daughters, Dianna Moore and Deborah Taylor; two brothers, Richard Taylor and Robert Taylor; and one sister, Mary Ann Martinez preceded him in death. Survivors include: his wife of 26 years, Carolyon Taylor of the home; sisters, Marie Woolsey of Midwest City and Melinda Beel of Prague; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; step son Clinton Ray Green of Prague and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Freewill Baptist Church in Paden with Rev. Jim Eastep officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
