Raymond Lee Delaney

Raymond Lee Delaney, age 67, of Choctaw, OK, was born on March 14, 1945, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was the son of George Raymond & Lorene (Chessher) Delaney. Raymond went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 28, 2012, in Del City, OK. Raymond proudly served in the U. S. Navy submarine service for 7 1/2 years. He married Mary Jude McEwen on March 17, 1978, in Nicoma Park, OK. Raymond retired from the City of Oklahoma City where he was a building engineer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed camping and square dancing. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jude Delaney, Choctaw, OK; 2 brothers, Larry Delaney, Ponca City, OK, Terry Delaney, League City, TX; cousins, Pam Campbell, Blackwell, OK, Mary Alice Kessinger, Ponca City, OK, Richard Delaney, Ponca City, OK, Bill Delaney, Ponca City, OK, Walt Delaney, Newkirk, OK, Jack Delaney, Stillwater, OK, Sue Delaney, Ponca City, OK and many other relatives and friends. Rosary and wake will be 6:45 PM, Monday, July 2, 2012, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Lucas Raj Pinapati officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
