Ray Walter Stephenson

Ray Walter Stephenson, age 93, of Omaha, Nebraska, was born on April 15, 1919, in Post, Texas. He was the son of Riley Walter & Audrey Grace (Ray) Stephenson. He left this life on Friday, March 8, 2013, in Omaha, Nebraska. Ray proudly served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a member of the Denver City Church of Christ, Denver City, TX. He enjoyed woodworking. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Margie, second wife, Jauwauce, son, Johnnie and daughter, Carol. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Joe & Sandy Stephenson, Omaha, NE; brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Jean Stephenson, Newalla, OK; 3 sisters, Evelyn Coble, Tecumseh, OK, Jackie Durchin, Austin, TX, Sue Stephenson, Dallas, TX; 3 grandchildren, Melissa Jurik, Lisa Stephenson, Eric Stephenson; 2 great-grandchildren, Lena & Millie Jurik and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Denver City Church of Christ. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Denver City Memorial Park Cemetery, Denver City, TX. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
