Randel Dee Blackwell

Randel Dee Blackwell, 62, of Prague, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Randel was born June 14, 1961, in Prague to Dee and Starleen (Lacquement) Blackwell. He graduated from Prague High School in 1979, and later attended Seminole State College. He was a childhood member of the First Baptist Church of Prague. Randel proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He also worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed and was known for being a great cook. He enjoyed gardening, his dogs, and raising horses. He was a member of the Prague Round-Up Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ray Blackwell.

Survivors include his children Dellen and wife Brandi Blackwell of Earlsboro, Abigail and husband Justin Lewis of McComb, Heather Blackwell of Seminole, Caitlin and husband Dylan Stephens of Prague, Kachena and husband Cammeron Hull of Eagle River, Alaska; brothers Tommy and wife Lori Blackwell, of Prague, Tim and wife Kristie Blackwell of Shawnee; friend Jeff Nye of Prague; and several grandchildren.
