Rachel Michelle Rissler, age 34, Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of McLoud, OK, was born September 22, 1980, in Elk City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of James & Janet (Herriman) Bate. She left this life on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in Oklahoma City, OK. Rachel graduated from McLoud High School and was attending OCCC in Oklahoma City. She loved animals and was interested in Retro games. She was also preceded in death by her grandfathers. Survivors include parents, James & Janet Bate, McLoud, OK; brother, James Allen Bate, McLoud, OK; 2 sisters & brothers-in-law, Jennifer & Andrew Schroeder, Edmond, OK, Erica Clark & Adam Good, Seminole, OK; maternal grandmother, Barbara Walls, McLoud, OK; paternal grandmother, Hazel Rissler, Okmulgee, OK; niece, Serenity 'Lump' Clark; nephews, Sebastian Clark, Xander Boughen, Tyler Osborne, Knight Schroeder and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Bruce Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, McLoud, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
