Quincy Edmond Crosby was born on January 7, 1919, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Harrah, Oklahoma, at the age of 90. Quincy, the son of Quincy Vernon and Goldie Isabelle (Pendleton) Crosby, was a resident of Harrah. He married Mary Magdalene Moody on February 13, 1939 in Paden, Oklahoma. Quincy retired from Leeway Motor Freight in 1984. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Floyd Moore, three brothers, one sister, one son, Vernon Crosby, and one daughter, Judy Gail Hendricks. Survivors include wife, Mary Crosby of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Lorene Crosby of Franktown, Colorado, Darrel and Patricia Crosby of Midwest City, Rickey and Kathy Crosby of McLoud; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Danny Manek of Harrah; sisters, Lenora Cook of Texas, Jewel Dean Fuller of Okemah; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
