Phyllis Ann Wages

Phyllis Ann Wages was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on September 11,1939 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Phyllis was the daughter of William Emery and Jewel Agnes (Smalley) Burkins. She was a resident of Stroud most of her life. Phyllis was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma and was a homemaker. Phyllis married Wallace Eugene Wages in Bristow, Oklahoma on May 18, 1957. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Billie Kay. Survivors include, Three Sons, Brad Wages of Sarasota, FL, Thad Wages of Stroud, OK, Bret Wages & wife Betty of Bristow, OK, Five Grandchildren, Kiley, Cori, Seth, Derek and Zack, Eight Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends Funeral service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. James Lame officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
