Phillip Dean White

Phillip Dean White was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on October 22, 1935 and departed this life at his home in Stroud on Sunday, December 24. 2017 at the age of 82 years. Phillip was the son of Samuel E. and Alma (Lively) White. He was a resident of Stroud since 1982. His parents past away when he was at a early age in life and his sister raised him. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Stroud and retired as a produce Asst. for Kinnamon Grocery Store in Chandler and Stroud. He love to watch OU play football, loved bowling, church activities, singing. He married Helen Marie Orr Brown August of 1982. He was a devoted husband and cared for Helen though the years. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include, his wife, Helen of the home, one son, Clinton White, two step sons, Larry Brown & wife Janice, Steve Brown & wife Sheri of Stroud, one daughter, Tracy Ingram, one step daughter, Sharon Cartmill & husband Keith, five grandchildren, Clint Brown, Joel Brown, Shawn Brown, Casey Cartmill and Brian Cartmill, nine great grandchildren, and niece, Reba Zalater & her husband, Kenneth, many more nieces and nephews, and many friends. Funeral Service will be held at the First Assembly of God in Stroud on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Okemah, Oklahoma at 1:30 P.M. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the First Assembly of God Life Center in Stroud.
