Pete Tytenicz

Pete Tytenicz, age 84, of Harrah, OK, was born on April 23, 1925, in Harrah, OK, to Charlie & Tykana Tytenicz. He went to Heaven on Monday, May 11, 2009, in Midwest City, OK. Pete was a life long resident of Harrah. He was a retired farmer who lived on the same farm for 82 years. Pete was a member of St. Mary Ukranian Orthodox Church in Harrah. He enjoyed farming, gardening, dancing and visiting at the Harrah Senior Citizens Center. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Katie Webb and brother, Stash Tytanic. He is survived by his wife, Mary Fran Tytenicz of the home; son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Margie Tytenicz, Choctaw, OK ; sisters, Josie Joskulowski, Harrah, OK, Emily Tucker, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 grandchildren, Abbie Tytenicz & Austin Williams, numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the Harrah Senior Citizens Center. Orthodox funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Father Raphael Moore officiating. Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 15, 2009, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Dr. Dick Temple officiating. Interment to follow at St. Mary Ukranian Orthodox Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
