Perry Joe Kratchmer

Perry Joe Kratchmer, age 73, of Warner, OK, formerly of Harrah, OK, was born on April 15, 1942, in Clarksville, Iowa. He was the son of Eddie Louie & Mary Renelda (Atkinson) Kratchmer. He left this life on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in Warner, OK. Perry was raised in the Charles City, Iowa area and graduated in 1960 from Charles City High School. He married Kerry Lee Briggs on January 19, 1974, in Waterloo, Iowa. Perry was a highway paving superintendent for Duit Construction, TTK Construction and TJ Campbell Construction companies in the Oklahoma City area. In the early 1990's Perry & Kerry owned and operated Signal Sub & Soda in Harrah. Perry enjoyed cars, especially stock cars and hot rods. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elaine. Survivors include his wife, Kerry Kratchmer, Warner, OK; 4 sons & daughters-in-law, Michael Kratchmer, Marietta, GA, Scott Kratchmer & fiance, Pam Johnson, Rockford, IL, Sean & Shannon Stoneman, Noble, OK, Sam & Jess Kratchmer, Mustang, OK; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Vernon & Sally Kratchmer, Osage, IA, Dean & Sharon Kratchmer, Jay, FL; 7 grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth, Caitlin, Sasha, Victor, Vann, Brandon 1 great-granddaughter and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
