Percy Sturm

Percy Lloyd Sturm was born on December 8. 1927, in Verden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 02, 2009, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 81. Percy, the son of Edgar Henderson Sturm and Flossie Lorene (Clemmons) Baker, was a resident of Meeker. He married Rosa Lea Burger on August 5, 1974 in Sparks, Oklahoma. Percy was a construction worker and was of the Baptist faith. His parents and one daughter, Janet Edmonds, preceded Percy in death. Survivors include wife,Rosa Lea Sturm of the home; son, Ricky Sturm of Chandler, Arizona; daughters, Vicky Hazlewood of McLoud, Patty Smith of Gatesville, TX, Iona McCleary of Meeker, Brenda Session of Meeker; sister, Patricia Payne of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker beginning at noon on Thursday, December 3.
