Penny Jane Hickman Talbert

Penny Jane Hickman Talbert was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on November 7, 1959 and departed this life at her home in Stroud on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 58 years. Penny was the daughter of Eddie Jewel and Bertha Emily (Lee) Hickman. She was a resident of Stroud since 2003. She was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Stroud and was a homemaker. Penny loved her family and loved to get out on the farm, riding the tractor and taking care of their livestock. She married Joseph Tom Talbert Junior. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Bertha Hickman and one niece, Presley. Survivors include, husband Joseph of the home, one son, Justin Daniel Talbert and wife Jennifer of Edmond, two daughters, Laura Lee Smoot of Cushing, Chelsea Jo Wright and husband, Zachary of Stroud, four brothers, Eddie Hickman of New Castle, Byron Hickman of Weatherford, Ronnie Hickman of Drumright and John Hickman of Cushing, two sisters, Julie Flager of Ponca City, Marilyn Hickman of Ponca City, four grandchildren, Megan Smoot, Dasan Smoot both of Cushing, Sophia and Lincoln Talbert of Edmond, Father in law, and mother in law, Joe and Nita Talbert of Stroud, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M with Pastor James Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park at Cushing under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
