Pearl Marie Kaltenbach (née George) went home to be with her Lord on May 29, 2022 in Prague, Oklahoma. Pearl was born on July 27, 1929 in Bryant, Oklahoma, to Leona (Trover) George and Dale George. Pearl graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1947 and married Ted Kaltenbach on November 15, 1947. She and Ted were married for more than sixty years and were the proud parents of Janet, Peggy, Kathleen, and Ted Jr. and the loving grandparents of ten grandchildren who remember magical Christmas mornings, breakfasts at her kitchen counter, and watching Carol Burnett and I Love Lucy with Grandma. Pearl loved a good joke and was known to laugh until she cried-something that gave her family some of their best memories of her. Pearl was known by those who loved her as an excellent cook, a gracious host, and as kind a person as there ever was. Pearl loved many things including rabbits, the color yellow, her dogs, her friends, and Jesus. She was a member of Grand Avenue Church of Christ in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, for many years and a member of Prague Church of Christ in Prague, Oklahoma, from 2009 until her passing. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Ted Kaltenbach, Sr.; daughter Peggy Gray; son Ted Kaltenbach, Jr.; and grandsons Darin Gray, Douglas Fairbanks, and Andrew Kaltenbach. She is survived by her sister Betty George Frederick and brother John George; daughters Janet Parks of Edmond and Kathleen Gunter of Oklahoma City; and her grandchildren, their spouses, and their many children and grandchildren: Kristina and Steven Degraffenreid, Vicki Fairbanks, Emily and Les Dean, Nathan Gunter and Brian Stephens, John and Kendall Gunter, Kyle Kaltenbach, Adam and Mekall Kaltenbach, and Alyson and Michael Kennedy. She lives on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and anyone who ever had the good fortune to meet her.
