Pauline Hopcus

Pauline Hopcus, Harrah, OK, age 84, was born on March 29, 1926, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Frank & Anna (Androclisi) Rozak. She departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Midwest City, OK. Pauline was the oldest of 3 daughters. She attended school in Spencer. Pauline lived in Oklahoma County in Spencer, Jones and Midwest City before moving to Harrah in 1965. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Harrah, where she belonged to the Altar Society. She was also a member of the American Breed Cattle Association. Pauline enjoyed her life on her farm. She loved taking care of her animals, her daily chores, the outdoors, and eating out with friends. Her ready smile, wit, and sense of humor will be missed by all those who knew her. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Adolph Hopcus, Marion Hopcus and one sister, Anna Rozak. Survivors include her sister, Teresa Bratcher of Moore, OK, a nephew, great niece and nephew, and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the St. Teresa of Avila Building Fund. Rosary at 6:40 PM with the Wake at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the St. Teresa Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Lucas Raj Pinapati officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
