Pauline Harding, Edmond, Oklahoma, resident, was born on October 10, 1919, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and departed this life in Edmond, Oklahoma, on November 25, 2004, at the age of 85 years. Pauline was the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Lucinda Gertrude Miller Johnson. She graduated from the Wellston High School in 1937; she then attended Central State University, graduating in 1948. Pauline married James ?Jim? Edward Harding on July 27, 1944 in Wellington, Kansas. She then furthered her education by attending the Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1960. Pauline''s distinguished career in education spanned 36 years, 28 of which were with the Wellston Schools. Pauline was a primary teacher for 15 years and then served as the Elementary and Jr. High Principal. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. Her parents, husband, four brothers, and two sisters preceded Pauline in death. Survivors include: One sister: Bettye J. Starling of Edmond, OK; One brother: Billy D.
