Patti Jo Chivers

Patti Jo Chivers was born on June 23, 1957, in Centerville, Pennsylvania, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in Oklahoma City at the age of 53. Patti, the daughter of Homer Lawrence and Betty Marie (Flynn) Chivers, was a resident of Prague. She graduated with honors from Johannesburg Lewiston High School with the class of 1975. Patti worked for Wrangler for 31 years, most recently as an Office Manager. She loved sewing, crocheting, swimming, and most of all her family. Patti's nieces and nephews were very special to her. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include mother, Betty Chivers of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Marsha Chivers of Brighton, CO, Ted and Christy Chivers of Paola, KS; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjorie and Al Dandy of Newalla, Susie and Steve Mosley of Silver City, NM, Betty and Brad Walker of Lewiston, MI, Anna and Bob Bennett of Spokane, WA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Chivers family will receive friends Friday evening, March 4, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Lonnie Hutton officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
