2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Patrick L Gray, of Guthrie, Oklahoma received his promotion to heaven on Friday, August 14, 2020. He had been a resident of Guthrie for many years. Pat’s time on this earth began on February 9, 1960, in OKC, as an identical twin. He graduated from Edmond High School in 1978. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Gray and his mother Marguerite Cunningham. He worked in several fields throughout his adulthood but he ended up working for Logan County District 2 as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This was a job he loved and anyone who visited with him, for any length of time, was educated about the 500 miles of road in district 2 and the lack of funding for road maintenance. He was forced to retire early due to illness but he remained a strong advocate for funding the roads of Logan County. He is survived by his wife Tambra, his twin Darryl, his oldest brother Charles and sister Pamela. He also leaves behind seven children: Maegan and her husband Bret Bertwell, Macey and her husband Eric Hernandez, Charles Gray and his wife Jenna, Brennen Coulter, Aaron Coulter, Garrett Coulter and his wife Vanessa, Bailey and her husband Stephen Kennedy. And fourteen grandchildren: Tyson, Arden, Duke, Nael, Elah, Jaxon, Gentry, LillieAnn, Jade, Davon, Nicolas, Travis, Antonio, Maggie. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He and his wife Tambra were members of Faith Bible Church in Edmond where they volunteered for the early service coffee crew. He was an avid amateur HAM radio operator who was sometimes better known as N5SGV. He was a wonderful friend, and an even better husband and father. He had a gift for reaching out to people and making them feel heard and loved. There are literally thousands of stories we could share of how special he was to his family. He was an amazing man and he will be greatly missed. There is a memorial for any who would like to attend on Tuesday 8/18/2020 at 4:00pm at Faith Bible Church, 600 N. Coltrane Edmond, OK. In lieu of flowers, we ask that during this time please just be kind to one another. We could all do with more kindness.
