Pamela Sue Golden, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 18, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on September 5, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years. Pamela was the daughter of Darrell and Fredine Clark Lortz. Pamela was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where she was the children''s choir director for 3 years. She gradated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1976 then attended Oklahoma University obtaining Master degrees in music. She was an elementary music teacher at Drumright, Perry and Spring Creek Elementary School in Broken Arrow and was teacher of the year in 1995 and 2004.Her grandparents preceded Pamela in death. Survivors include son & daughter-in-law:Colt & Taryn Golden of Broken Arrow, OK.Granddaughter Maddox Shay Golden of Broken Arrow, OK. ParentsDarrell & Freddie Lortz of Sapulpa, OK. Three brothers John Edwin Lortz of Sapulpa, OK, Thomas Andrew Lortz of Tulsa, OK, Charles Gregory Lortz of Oologah, OK. Many nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 PM, Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with Rev. Larry Varvel officiating. Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
