Palmer Bridge

Palmer Ray Bridge, a long-time Wellston, Oklahoma, resident, was born on July 22, 1922, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August 17, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Palmer was the son of Olin Ray and Eatho Tabor Bridge. He married Loretta Jones on June 11, 1943, in Davenport, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Palmer was a minister in the Assembly of God Church. He pastored churches in Guthrie, Wellston, and Sparks, Oklahoma for many years. His parents, his wife, and one granddaughter preceeded him in death. Survivors include: 1 son & daughter-in-law, Phillip and Treva Bridge, Wellston; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Roger Mandrell, Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren, Darci and Eric Lollar, Edmond, Marissa Bridge, Wellston, Jennifer Mandrell, Oklahoma City, and Doug Mandrell, Oklahoma City; and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at the First Assembly of God Church, Wellston, with Reverands Dewayne Settle and Doyle Seeley officiating. Burial will follow at the New Zion Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler, Oklahoma.
