Owen Paul Allee, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 3, 2020. He was born near Stroud Oklahoma on July 6, 1928 to Marion and Oma (Phillips) Allee. He married Rosemary Ann Barber in Bristow on Christmas Eve, 1949, and they were married for 65 years before her passing on September 7, 2015. Owen Paul served in the US Army 2nd Armored Division in Germany during the Korean War from 1951 to 1952, and was honorably discharged from active duty in November 1952. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Richard Allee of Florissant, Colo., his daughter Phyllis Elaine McFadden (Donald) of Colorado Springs, Colo., his daughter Brenda Jones (Darrell) of Huntsville, Ark., his grandchildren William Allee (Stacey) of Mulvane Kan., Jimmy Jones (Colleen) of Huntsville, Ark., Justin Spaulding (Jenelle) of Canton N.Y., Amanda Zunno (Christopher) of Las Vegas, Nev., Jared Spaulding (Heather) of Albuquerque, N.M. and his great grandchildren. He is also survived by his youngest brother Jack Allee of Oklahoma City and numerous nieces and nephews. Owen Paul will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father. He was a thoughtful, kind and generous man who loved to travel with Rosemary and his family. Paul and Rosemary vacationed all over the United States and often took their grandchildren on wonderful trips that have left them with many wonderful memories. Owen Paul worked for over 30 years at Fleming Co., in Wichita Kansas. He loved sports and his passion besides his family was playing and coaching softball which he did for over 30 years and had many very successful teams. He was also a devoted fan of Oklahoma Sooner sports and enjoyed watching OU play football, basketball and baseball whether in person or on television. Owen Paul touched innumerable lives with his strength, humor, sense of purpose and love. He will be deeply missed. Paul and Rosemary had a deep and abiding faith and were long time members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Owen Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosemary, his parents, five sisters and three brothers. A private graveside burial was held at Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma.
