Otis E. Treanor

Otis E. Treanor was born on February 4, 1928, in Stroud, OK, and departed this life on Monday, February 23, 2009, in Norman, OK, at the age of 81. Otis, the son of Benjamin M. and Lola E. Tate Treanor, was a long-time resident of Davenport, OK. Otis served in the United States Army during WWII. He married Betty Jo Richardson on December 19, 1968, in Chandler, OK. Otis worked for the Santa Fe Rail Road for many years. He was retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, and was a self employed TV Repairman. Otis was a member of the Davenport Church of Christ. His parents, wife, one son, one brother and one grandson preceded Otis in death. Survivors include, Five sons, Robert Treanor of Moore, OK, Edward Treanor of Hominy, OK, Cecil Treanor of Stroud, OK, Tim Smith of Drumright, OK, Kenneth Treanor of Davenport, OK, Two daughters, Wilma Price of Chandler, OK, Kimberly Mayhal of Davenport, OK, Two sisters, Carmelita Treanor of OKC, OK, Shirley Stwalley of Dodge City, KS, 14 Grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February, 27, 2009, at 2:00 P.M., at the Davenport Church of Christ in Davenport, OK with Pastor Don Fuchs officiating. Interment will follow at Davenport Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
