Oscar Ray Burchette

Oscar Ray Burchett was born on November 17, 1933, in Rossville, Oklahoma, and departed this life onTuesday, December 20, 2005, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 72. Ray the son of Oscar and Mary Ellen Wilkins Burchette, was a life-long resident of Meeker. Ray married Jerrie Marie Nuckols on October 8, 1953. He worked at Macklanburg Duncan for 12 years and owned and operated two different grocery stores and spent many years dealing with metals, selling pickups and tractors. His parents; one son, three brothers and two sisters preceded Ray in death. Survivors include wife Jerrie Burchette of the home. Two sons, Ronnie Burchette of Blanchard, Ok. Rusty Burchette of Meeker, Ok. Two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Max & Della Burchette of Meeker, Ok. Shelby & Mae Burchette of Holdenville, Oklahoma. One sister and brother-in-law Carylon & Glen Davis of Meeker, Ok. One brother-in-law George Buoy of Meeker, Ok. One sister-in-law:Lois Burchette of Bixby, Ok.Four grandchildren Brandon Burchette of Colorado. Chandra Burchette of Shawnee, Ok. Kevin Keel of Meeker, Ok. Lindsie Kirkland of Wetumka, Ok.
