Opal June Hickman

Opal Jane Hickman a Stroud resident, was born in Harrah, Oklahoma, on June 14, 1922 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma, on Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the age of 83. Opal was the daughter of Millard and Minnie Basinger Cummings. Opal was a Stroud resident for the past twelve years, a member of the First Baptist Church in Stroud, and worked as emergency room nurse. Opal married Robert Henry Hickman on June 12, 1939 in Hollis, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.
