Opal Contway

Opal Fay Contway, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born February 10, 1926, in Chandler, and departed this life April 19, 2017, in Chandler, at the age of 91 years. Opal was the daughter of Glen and Blanch (Ralston) Greenfield. She married William Hicks, he passed away in 1970, she then married Marvin Contway, he passed away in 2014. Opal was a homemaker. Her parents, husbands, five brothers, and one sister, preceded Opal in death. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Vickie Hicks of Chandler, Rocky Hicks and Latricia of Chandler, ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma with Rev. Keith Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
