Oliver Zane Bradshaw

Oliver Zane “O.Z.” Bradshaw, 81, of Paden, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Okemah, Oklahoma. O.Z. was born on December 20, 1937 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Homer and Opal Bradshaw. He married Delores (Huelle) on December 30, 1955 and together they had 3 children. O.Z. served our country in the United States Army for three years. After the Army, he was a truck driver for almost 50 years. With that, he enjoyed CB radios and used the handle “Goat Farmer”. O.Z. also enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on his ranch. O.Z. was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Riley Bradshaw; a niece, Lisa Barrett; and a nephew, Paul “PJ” Simon Jr. O.Z. is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Delores; a son, Jeff Bradshaw; two daughters, Wendy Taylor and her husband Billy, and Michelle Parenica; three granddaughters, Lauren Parenica, Lisa Parenica and Bethany Taylor; a sister, Nelda Simon and her husband, Paul; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 25, 2019 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Public visitation will be Wednesday evening October 23, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, October 24 from 8:00 AM – 8:00 P.M. at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague, Oklahoma. The family will be accepting visitors during visitation Thursday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Burial will follow at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, Oklahoma. Condolences can be made at www.parksbrothers.net
