Ola Pearl Cochran

July 15, 1913 — February 14, 2008

Ola Pearl Key Cochran, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born to S.D. 'Doy' and Cloe Bridge Key on July 15, 1913, in Chandler, and departed this life on February 14, 2008, at the age of 94 years. Ola moved with her family to the family farm northwest of Davenport at an early age. She attended grade school at Mountain View and graduated from Davenport High School in 1931. Ola married Vernal Cochran on August 27, 1932; Vernal preceded her in death on October 16, 1988. They enjoyed 56 years together and loved to travel the states and spend the winters in south Texas. She was a homemaker and long-time member of the First Christian Church in Chandler. Her parents, husband, infant daughter, infant grandson, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and one brother preceded Ola in death. Survivors include, Daughter, Ruth Ann Hicks of the home, Son & daughter-in-law, Sam & Dorothy Cochran of Halletsville, TX, Three grandchildren & spouses, Larry & Nancy Hicks of Chandler, OK, Teena Smith of Tomball, TX, Randy & Lynn Cochran of Plainfield, IN, Four great-grandchildren & spouses, Sarah & Erik Gross of Chandler, OK, Brittany Smith of Tomball, TX, Samantha Cochran of Plainfield, IN, James Cochran of Ft. Worth, TX, One great-great-granddaughter, Averyana Cochran of Plainfield, IN, One sister & brother-in-law, Lilly May & Gail Fenderson of Meeker, OK, One brother, Gerald Key of Chandler, OK, Other relatives and many friends.
