Odrey Genevieve Muncy

Odrey Genevieve Muncy was born on October 30, 1921, in Paden, and departed this life on Thursday, March 19, 2015, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. Odrey, the daughter of Almer “AH” and Bessie (Dawson) Landrum, was a resident of Oklahoma City. She married Herbert “Clyde” Muncy on June 21, 1947. They remained married until his death in 1978. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and gardening. Odrey’s parents, husband, and four brothers, J.O. “Jo” Landrum, Jack Landrum, Don Landrum and Joyce Kenneth Landrum, and three sisters, Audrey Addington, Jo Rehage and Sybil Berry preceded her in death. Survivors include: son, Herbert “Pepper” Muncy of Oklahoma City; grandson, Adam Muncy of Norman; granddaughters, Tristan Pierce of Chandler and Garin Hightower of Moore; sister, Doretha Lowery of Shawnee; many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Pastor Doyle Seeley officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
