Odessa Bell Flanagan

Odessa Bell Flanagan was born in Paul Valley, Oklahoma on December 18, 1915 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, September 19, 2008 at the age of 92 years. Odessa was the daughter of Frank and Mary Martin Ward. Odessa was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma most of her life. She married Earl Flanagan in Depew, Oklahoma on December 18, 1937. She was a Teacher in the Stroud Area for 28 years and owned and operated an Antique Shop in Stroud, Oklahoma for 18 years, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stroud. Odessa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl in 1981, 3 sons, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survivors include, One Son, Mike Flanagan of Broken Arrow, OK, Two Daughters, Dianne DeLong of Stroud, OK, Carmelita Hampton of Lawton, OK, Seven Grandchildren, Julie Gregory, Matt Burnham, Michael Smith, Crystal Kazlaskas, Darlene Brown, Jeff Flanagan, Wayne Flanagan, 11 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
