Nova Lee Dornan

Nova Lee Dornan, Carney, Oklahoma, resident was born on January, 1, 1923, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November, 25, 2007, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Nova was the daughter of Henry E. and Hattie Crawford Johnson. She married A. J. Dornan on October 1, 1973, in Gainesville, Texas. Nova co-owned and operated Dornan Grocery in Carney for many years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Carney. Her parents, two brothers and six sisters preceded Nova in death. Survivors include, Husband, A. J. of the home, Two sons & daughters-in-law, David & Carolyn Moore of OKC, OK, Randy & Patricia Moore of Midwest City, OK, Three step-sons, A.J. & Carolyn Dornan of Moore, OK, Jim & Tammy Dornan of Del City, OK, John & Peggy Dornan of Carney, OK, One daughter & son-in-law, Joann & Bill Brown of Meeker, OK, One step-daughter & step-son-in-law Doris & Dwight Wickware of Tuttle, OK, One brother, Wayne Johnson of New Mexico, 78 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at First Assembly of God Church in Carney, Oklahoma, with Rev. Darel Loudan officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM, Lindsay Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler, Oklahoma.
