Norman George Davis was born on August 29, 1951 and went to meet his Mom and Dad on November 8, 2019. Norman was one of our heroes and a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U S Army, 101st Airborne Division. Norman’s peace of mind came from riding on his motorcycle, sometimes with his buddies and sometimes by himself, throughout the United States. His ability to see the beautiful nature of the United States and talk with the Americans he met along the way made him even prouder of his military service and this country. Norman’s loves were his daughter, Alicia Davis born on November 8, 1974; his two grandsons, Hunter and Zachariah, all of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Norman is also survived by his brother, Paul of Tucumcari, New Mexico; sister and brother in law, Joyce and Robert Hardison of Prague, Oklahoma; sister, Doris (Duggie) Vance of Paden, Oklahoma; brother and sister in law, Clem and Jane Davis of McAlester, Oklahoma; and sister, Patrica Davis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, George J. Davis and Pearlie Jane (Case) Davis of Paden, Oklahoma; and his grandparents, Charlie George and Julia Davis and Wm (Bud) and Ethel Mae Case all of Paden, Oklahoma. Norman leaves behind twelve beloved nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Norman was retired from the state of Oklahoma and leaves behind many friends from his years of service with them. Services will be at Oakdale Cemetery, Paden, Oklahoma, on Monday, November 18, 2019, at 2pm. There will be a reception for the family on Sunday, November 17, 2019, from 2pm-4pm at the Paden Holiness Church Annex.
