Norma L. Jilge

Norma L. Jilge, McLoud, OK, age 73, was born on October 2, 1937, in Choctaw, OK. She was the daughter of John & Bessie (Beal) McGee. She left this life on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, in Shawnee, OK. Norma married Elmer Thomas 'Tommy' Jilge on March 29, 1958, in Oklahoma City, OK. She worked for the Department of Agriculture in livestock management and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, McLoud, OK. Norma enjoyed fishing, flower & vegetable gardening, mowing grass and bird watching. She was world famous for her turkey & dressing and loved cooking for her family. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Curt Jilge. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Jilge, McLoud, OK; son, Tommy Jilge, Oklahoma City, OK; 3 daughters, Rhonda Withrow, Midwest City, OK, Penny Mathews, Harrah, OK, Karen Drew, McLoud, OK; brother, Billy McGee, Checotah, OK; sister, Roberta Inabnit, Harrah, OK; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
