Norma Adeline Janota

Norma Adeline Janota was born on May 29, 1922, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Norma, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Nora Elizabeth (Bean) Vaughan, was a resident of Oklahoma City. She married Edward Janota on August 17, 1940 in Chandler. He preceded Norma in death on June 7, 1989. She was a homemaker and a member of the May Avenue United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. Her parents; five sisters; five brothers; and one infant son, Darrell Lee, also preceded Norma in death. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Edward, Jr., and Sharon Janota of Katy, Texas, Andy Janota of Oklahoma City; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jerry Crabb of Edmond, Charlotte and Clark Rulison of Azle, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Almeda Edwards of Medford, OR, Jean Kimmel of Yukon, Neva and Steve Benjock of Oklahoma City; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Starland Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
