Noland Eugene Martin

Noland Eugene Martin was born on October 18, 1945, in Claremore, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, February 20, 2009, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 63. Noland, the son of David N. and Biddie L. Ritchson Martin, was a longtime resident of Meeker. He married Sherry Darlene Nelson on January 14, 1970 in Denton, Texas. Noland was a retired commercial roofer superintendant and a served overseas with the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. His parents, three brothers, and four sisters preceded him in death. Survivors include sis wife, Sherry Martin, of the home; one son, Ron Martin of Meeker; one brother and sister in law, Eldred and Barbara Martin of Seneca, MO; two sisters and one brother in law, Janie Harper of Prague, Carol and J. J. Alley of Inola, OK. Viewing and visitation will be at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker until 12:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2009.
