Noel H. Humphrey

Noel Harvel Humphrey, Harrah, OK, was born on March 31, 1912, in Mayflower, Arkansas to Henry Allen and Amanda Bean Humphrey. He departed this life on March 24, 2006, in Harrah, OK. Noel was a musician who loved gospel music and played several string instruments. Noel was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Floyd and a twin sister who died at birth. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Humphrey, Harrah, OK; 1 son, James Humphrey, Harrah, OK; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Mary & Roy Mooney, Port Bolivar, TX, Ruth & Joe Montgomery, Del City, OK, Grace & Buddy Moseley, Harrah, OK; 1 sister, Oca Gilliam, Dexter, MO; 4 grandchildren,Michael & Jo Owings, Moore, OK, Michelle & Martin Powel, Austin, TX, Simone Linn, Del City, OK, Jason & Hillary Moseley, Harrah, OK; 6 great-grandchildren, James & Nicole Powel, Colton Linn, Garrett Dixon, Randy Artrip, Tammy Lewis; 2 nephews, Andy Gilliam & David Humphrey; 2 nieces, Elizabeth Humphrey & Gail Clark and many other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Rev. Paul Jackson and Rev. Robert Temple officiating. Interment will follow at the Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
