Nila Mae Muncy-Fowler

Nila Mae 'Toots' Muncy-Fowler was born near Henryetta, Oklahoma on April 12, 1923 and departed this life in Prague on August 20, 2008 a the age of 85 years, 4 months and 8 days. 'Toots' was the daughter of Will Eugene and Virdia Ann Baker Montgomery. She was married to Raymond E. Muncy on January 30, 1945 in Paden. She was retired from Tinker Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 2001 after 56 years of marriage. She was later married to Mack Fowler and he preceded her in death in May of this year. Others who preceded her in death include her parents, one brother, one sister and one granddaughter. She is survived by two daughters and sons in law: Skeet and Corky Fipps and Donna and Geary Fipps, all of Paden; two brothers and their wives: Bill and JoAnn Montgomery, Tulsa and Jake and Delena Montgomery, Henryetta; Four sisters in law: Bettye Robison and her husband, B. C, Prague, Wilma Rogers, Paden, Maxine Raines, Paden and Odrey Muncy, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Ray officiating and Rev. Kevin Wehrli assisting. Interment will follow in the Paden Cemetery.
