Nell J. Dorsey

Nell Dorsey, a Stroud resident, was born in Raford, Oklahoma, on March 8, 1920 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at the age of 86 years. Nell was the daughter of J. A. & Roxie Denny Morris. Nell was been a resident of Stroud most of her life, a member of the First Baptist Church, and worked as a bookkeeper. Nell married Joe Dorsey in Gainesville, Texas, on January 10, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 step son, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Survivors include several nieces & nephews other relatives & friends. Funeral services will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
