Nelda Faye Tislow

Nelda Faye Tislow was born on July 17, 1924, in Grand Valley, Colorado, and departed this life on Monday, October 18, 2010, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Nelda, the daughter of James E. and Laura (Osborn) Gardner, was a long-time resident of Chandler, Oklahoma. She married Doyle Tislow on July 3, 1941, in Chandler. Nelda was a homemaker and member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church. Her parents, husband, and two sisters preceded Nelda in death. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Philip & Audine Tislow of Chandler, OK, two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Kristin & Ken Attebery of Oklahoma City, OK, Kelli & Jeremy Robbins of Chandler, OK, three great-grandsons, Conner & Owen Attebery of Oklahoma City, OK, Kyle Robbins of Chandler, OK, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at the Chandler Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Henley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
