Nancy Sharon Sligar

Nancy Sharon Sligar was born on February 5, 1943, in Stroud, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2011, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 68. Nancy, the daughter of George Duffy and Zula Marie (Welcher) Provience, was a resident of Prague. She married John Sligar on November 16, 1983 in Shawnee, OK. John retired from Tinker and works for the City of Prague. Nancy attended Stroud schools and worked in the family business, C&A Cleaners, for several years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. Nancy was a born-again believer and Christian child of God. She was preceded in death by twin daughters, Sharon Diann and Diann Sharon Rozell; daughter, Crystal Jeanette Mosley Jones; and brother, Oscar LaVon Provience.. Survivors include her husband, John Sligar of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Rajeana Ranae and Monte Kimbel of Tulsa, Nancy Marie and Drew Hagar of Prague; Sarah Dianne Sligar of Prague; sister, Alberta Grimes; grandchildren,Shavon, Monte, Chelsea, Christian, and Harley; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Bobby, and Braylen; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with David Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
