Nancy Lee (Meredith) Brown

Nancy Lee Brown was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on October 15, 1947 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the age of 62 years. Nancy was the daughter of Lee and Josephine (James) Meredith. Nancy was a resident of Stroud all of her life. Nancy graduated from Stroud High School in 1965. Nancy married Kenneth Brown on September 3, 1965. She was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud and worked for the Stroud Nursing Center for many years, had a home daycare for several years, worked at the Stroud Hospital as the Dietary Manager before 1999 tornado. She was a volunteer of the First United Methodist Church and Stroud Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine, father and mother in laws, Cecil and Alta Brown, nephew, Brian Blaney, brother in law, Johnnie Brown. Survivors include,Husband:Kenneth of the home, Three Daughter and Son in Laws, Kim & Troy Beasler of Stroud, OK, Leah & Bryan Ackerman of Stroud, OK, Sheila & Shannon Williams of Stroud, OK, One Sister & Brother in Law, Mary Linda & Lynn Pryor of Chugiak, AK, Father, Lee Meredith and wife Lillie of Stroud, OK, Sister in Laws & Husband, Linda & Don Ahboah of Oklahoma City, Jane & John Davis of Prague, OK, Seven Grandchildren & Husband, Courtney & Colby Vaughn of Chandler, OK, Samuel Beasler of Stroud, OK, Nicholas & Ashley Beasler of Chandler, OK, Katelyn Beasler of Chandler, OK, Allison & Seth Messer, Casey, Kendall and Kyle Ackerman of Stroud, OK, Madison& Carlee Jo Williams of Stroud, OK, Great Grandchildren, Colt and Drew Messer of Stroud, OK, Other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Mike Haines officiating. Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
